Topic: “HIS DEATH GAVE US LIFE”
Text: John 10:17-18
Memory Verse: John 10:17 “Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.
No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again”
Consecration is a willing decision to fulfill a particular course of action. It is a dedication to the course of conviction to which you uphold whether convenient or not. Our LORD Jesus consecrated his life for us all. At a point, they wanted to make him king because he provided bread but he turned it down.
In consecration, you carry God’s presence to man through divine instructions. You choose to narrow down your life for the sake of the course you adore and regard. Jesus chorused this with the heavens “a body has thou prepared me” It was this preparation that gave us redemption. Except a corn of wheat falls into the ground and die, it abides alone…. John 12:26. His death brought us to God as a present to mankind.
What is your own conviction? Remember if you do not stand for something, you risk the chance of falling for everything.
PRAYER: Dear LORD, I surrender to the power of the gospel to save lives and to lead men to your saving knowledge. Grant me enabling grace to live as you do. Amen.
