Topic: “THE POWER OF PRAYER”
Text: Romans 1: 10:16
Memory Verse: Romans 1:16 “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek”
God’s Presence to the world is gloriously displayed through the preaching of the gospel. Apostle Paul defines it as the power of God unto salvation. It is the divinely approved method to save the world through the “foolishness” of the preaching of the gospel.
Know this, every preacher of the gospel carries God’s presence and demonstrates it in power. That is what converts the sinner and brings him to the light. In the physical sense of it, you cannot talk of God’s presence without the exercise of his power.
More importantly as you preach; lead souls to the LORD; heal the sick; cleanse the leper and raise the dead. These are all part of the total gospel.
The question is this; how committed are you to the Great Commission? How many souls have you led to the LORD this year? The Holy Spirit is the LORD of the harvest and the literal evidence of the manifest presence of God when you preach the gospel. Read Luke 9:1-3, 10:1-2.
PRAYER: LORD, I walk in the power of the gospel; manifest your saving grace through me in Jesus name.
