Topic: BEARING GOD’S PRESENCE – EMBRACING GOD’S PRESENCE DAILY – II

Text:Psalm 139:7 – 10

Memory Verse: Psalm 16:11 – “You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.”

The intertwining themes of God’s presence and righteousness are fundamental to our faith journey. God’s presence brings fullness of joy and eternal assurance, while His righteousness calls us to reflect His character. Embracing these truths transforms our daily walk with Him.

God’s presence is intimate, bringing comfort, guidance, and joy. Psalm 16:11 speaks of finding true life and joy in God’s presence. This constant companionship encourages us to pursue righteous living, aligned with His will and character.

Righteousness goes beyond moral behavior; it involves aligning our hearts and actions with God’s standards. In the Old Testament, righteousness refers to right relationships with God and others. The New Testament shows the same and more in Jesus as the perfect example for righteousness, inviting us to follow Him.

Begin and end every day in prayer and scripture reading to focus your heart on God and remind yourself of His presence and righteousness. Micah 6:8 and Matthew 5:6 are verses that can inspire you.

Meditate on God’s attributes; His holiness, justice, mercy, and love. Let these godly attributes shape your understanding of righteousness and inspire you to emulate them. Examine your heart and actions regularly, confessing known sins, and seeking God’s forgiveness. Genuine repentance will realign you with God’s righteousness and renew your sense of His presence. Make righteous living your passion and pursuit.

Finally, surround yourself with Christian believers for support, prayers, and encouragement in your pursuit of righteousness.

PRAYER: Father, thank You for Your constant presence. Help me live each day in awareness of Your nearness, finding joy and strength in You. Teach me to walk in righteousness, reflecting Your character in Jesus’ name, Amen.
