Topic: “LOVE REACHING ALL”
Text: PSALM 36:5-7
Memory Verse: Psalm 36:7-“How precious is Your unfailing love, O God! All humanity finds shelter in the shadow of Your wings.”
God’s love is truly unconditional, and Love is not something God does; it is who He is. We must also know that God’s love is deep and wide as seen in (Ephesians 3:18). The love of God is so wide that it includes all of us, no matter the state of our lives.
The Psalmist in our text today celebrated the love of God and identified three powerful things about the love of God. First is that God’s love is “precious,” which means it is of great value because it is rare, expensive, or important. Secondly, God’s love is “unfailing,” which means not falling short of expectation; completely dependable. Lastly, he said God’s love can shelter all humanity.
To shelter means we can be safe under His wings. It is the place where the hurt or the betrayed find help and hope. It is the place where the unloved can find love. Dearly beloved, as you go out today, remember that under His wing, we can find the shelter of love, where we are condemned, but where we find comfort for our soul. Therefore, come under His wing of love today, because His love can reach all.
PRAYER: Heavenly Father, we thank you that your love is all-inclusive, and it is wide enough to contain us. Help us to come under this love, so that we can find peace, purpose and power to also love like you love us, Amen.
