Topic: CAN GOD TRUST YOU?
Text: Genesis 6:1-22
Memory Verse: Gen 6:8 – “But Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord”.
As a project supervisor, many times I have had to do many projects by proxy through my staff or lieutenants who carry them out on my behalf.
Since they have been trained well to earn my confidence, as the supervisor and having gained enough experience of the technical know-how, I can commit to them according to the measure of their expertise and experience.
God is the ultimate creator and the Owner of creation, who oversees from heaven, all projects in creation. He assigns supervisors whom He can trust with projects in creation from time to time.
When He needed to recreate the “new earth” as a way of correcting the corruption in creation, He found Noah and commissioned him. God is seeking agents for correction in the various aspects of creation today. He is frantically looking for men and women He can trust with projects of correcting the corruption in the world system.
There are peculiar qualities He is looking for before He would assign anyone to such a huge project. Genesis 6:8-10 “But Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord. This is the account of Noah. Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked with God.” In the midst of a very corrupt creation, Noah distinguished himself and God found him.
Ezekiel 22:30 says, “And I sought for a man who will stand to intercede for the people that I may not destroy it…” God is looking for men whom He can trust. Can He trust you?
PRAYER: Lord, I submit to do your will and I want you to trust me with your assignment, help me fulfil your purpose for my creation in Jesus mighty name.
