Topic: MAKE ROOM FOR GOD: “Who is this King of Glory” III
Text: : PSALM 24: 7-10
Memory Verse: Rev 21:11. “Having the Glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like jasper stone, clear as crystal”.
The King of glory means that He superintend over glory. He starts and ends with glory. No one can make it appear except by Him and no one can take it away from a believer that has found grace in His sight and whom He knows by name. [Exo 33:17]. It is the most precious gift that is most awesome, performing miracles!
As the king of Glory, He performs undisputable acts of authority over His creation. In Exodus, He made Pharaoh, despite himself, to let Israel go for God has the hearts of Kings in his hands, and he demonstrated His authority over inhibiting nature when he parted the red sea to ensure passage for His beloved from their captors. [Psalm 136:13-15]. While travelling the wilderness and desert, His glory provided light for Israel in darkness, a pillar of fire to show them the way [Deut 1:33]. God daily fed Israel with manna and quail for variety along the journey. He supplied them water [Psalm 105:14] through the “Rock” that followed them on their journey [Neh 9:20]. God by His Glory ensured that their clothes did not wax old nor their sandals wear out – unparalleled provision of sufficiency [Deut 29:5]. By the lifting up of the bronze serpent in the wilderness, (foretelling of Jesus crucifixion on the cross by which all men are redeemed) He brought healing to those that are trusting Him and looking up to it! [Num 21: 8-9] This is just as His glory can heal when human Doctors have given up on any sick [John 31 4-15]. With the presence of His Glory, he dispenses victory at the seasons of life’s battles when He is lifted up! Nothing is beyond Him! He covers everything that pertains to life and living.
For with God, nothing shall be impossible! For you, He can do much more because of the Blood of Jesus Christ and the presence of His Spirit in you. Is there any area of life that you need the demonstration of His awesome power? Make Room for God today in all that concerns you that you may live in unparalleled victory, far above principality and powers. Above any challenges, in whatever shape they may wish to present. He has done it before and He will do it again, for He is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow!
Prayers: Thank you gracious God for who you are and the willingness to demonstrate power and authority in the circumstances of my life. I come to you for help because I believe that greater things you would do than you have done before, and nothing shall be impossible for you. I accept your awesome Glory as a most precious gift! Thank you for giving me victory in Jesus’ name. Amen.
