Topic:  “WOULD THERE BE RESSURECTION OUTSIDE CHRISTMAS?

Text: Genesis 3:1-15

Memory Verse:  And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed, it shall bruise thy head, and thou shall bruise his heel” – Genesis 3:15.

Adam and Eve disobeyed God and, as a result, received a pronouncement of judgment. In Genesis 3:15, God declared:

“I will put enmity between you and the woman, between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.”

This verse is widely believed to contain the first prophetic hint of Christmas—the coming of Christ. Through it, God promised a Redeemer. Many prophets like Isaiah, Jeremiah, Micah, Zachariah, Hosea and Moses affirmed this promise in Deuteronomy 18:15–22, Isaiah 7:14, Micah 5:2, and Isaiah 9:6.

The Lord God is ever faithful; He promises and brings it to pass. The Holy Bible presents a majestic picture of God in His glory. His splendour takes our breath away, His sovereignty amazes us, His faithfulness is awesome and our faith deepens as we trust and adore Him through His Word.

Would there be resurrection without Christmas? No. God planned the birth, death, and resurrection of Christ our Lord in perfect sequence. The virgin birth was not accidental—it was prophesied, fulfilled, and necessary. The resurrection stands on the foundation of the Incarnation. Without Christmas, there would be no Easter. Therefore, Jesus was born; He died—and rose again for our salvation.

PRAYER: Gracious Lord, thank You for Christmas. As a result of the birth of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, there is resurrection, there is salvation, and we are deeply grateful. Thank You, in Jesus’ name, Amen
