Text: 1 John 5:10-12
Memory Verse: John 5:12 – “Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.”
In today’s text, the apostle John shares an important message about the eternal light and salvation found in Jesus Christ. He emphasizes the importance of believing in the testimony of God concerning His Son. Those who believe in Jesus have the assurance of eternal life. This eternal life is not merely a future promise but a present reality for believers.
Our Lord Jesus is the eternal light that shines in the darkness of our lives, offering hope, redemption, and eternal life. Through Him, we are liberated from the bondage of sin and death, and we receive the gift of eternal salvation.
It is important that we place our faith in Jesus Christ. He is the source of eternal light that guides us through life’s challenges and uncertainties.
As you go through today, hold fast to His promises, trusting in His power to save and sustain you both now and for all eternity. Live each day in the light of His love, knowing that in Him, you have found eternal salvation.
Prayer: Lord, increase my faith in you, each day, till I am fully sold out to you in worship and in obedience, AMEN.
