Topic: “LOVE REVEALS THE WILL OF GOD

Ephesians 1:9 “…he has made known to us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure that he outlined in Christ.”
Paul’s desire for the believers in Ephesus was that they might know the will of God. The chief aim of a believer’s life ought to be to know God’s will. The Psalmist says “I take joy in doing your will, my God, for your instructions are written on my heart.” (Psalm 40:8)
Knowing and doing the will of God is what Jesus came to reveal to us. Jesus made known to us the mystery of his will, what is this will? The mystery has to do with Gentiles being fellow heirs with the Jews of the grace of God provided by Jesus Christ. It is His will to open the doors of communion to the Gentiles as well as the Jews.
As beloved children of God, we should be willing to build bridges with others, not allowing segregation or disunity. We are to work together, worship together and walk together. Jesus exemplified this when He said “I and the Father are one.” (John 10:30). The Lord loves us so much that He revealed the will of God to us, so that we would not fail to fulfil the will of God. As you step out today, watch out to do the will of God.
PRAYER: Heavenly Father, we thank you that you came to reveal your will to us, one of which is to be in unity with others, help us break down the walls and help us to walk, work and worship together in Jesus’ name, Amen.
