TOPIC: “BE FULLY SATISFIED”
TEXT: 2 Peter 1:2–4; Ephesians 1:3
MEMORY VERSE: “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ” – Ephesians 1:3
Many people spend their lives searching everywhere for what only God can truly provide: peace, identity, security, worth and lasting joy.
Scripture reminds us that in Christ, we have been richly blessed. God has made deep spiritual resources available through relationship with Him.
This does not mean that every desire is instantly fulfilled, but it means that the deepest needs of the soul are found in Christ.
When we do not know what we already have in Him, we may live restlessly, constantly chasing external things to fill internal emptiness.
However, the more you know Christ; the more contentment grows.
Through prayer, Scripture, worship and daily fellowship with Him, your eyes open to the riches of His grace, wisdom, peace and precious promises.
Jesus said He came that we may have life abundantly.
Today’s Reflection:
Where have you been looking for satisfaction outside of God?
Today’s Action:
Spend quiet time with God today before reaching for distractions.
PRAYER: Lord, draw me deeper into knowing You. Open my eyes to the riches I have in Christ. Teach me to find my satisfaction, peace and joy in You alone, Amen.
