Topic: “BEARING GOD’S PRESENCE THROUGH POSITIVE INFLUENCE –
VICTORIOUS”
Text: Romans 8:31– 39
Memory Verse: Romans 8:37 – “Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us”.
Imagine a child to whom the parents bequeathed all they had upon their death but the child never did appropriate the inheritance because he had no knowledge of it. We must not be unaware of the great deliverance Jesus Christ wrought for us through His death at Calvary. God has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of His dear Son, Jesus (Colossians 1:13).
Jesus bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we having died to sin, might live for righteousness. He also procured healing for us at the same time (1 Peter 2:24). God’s divine power has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue. (2 Peter 1:3).
With the understanding of the great victory Christ has given us, we live, not as bound, but as free. Not as cast down, but as lifted up. Not as powerless, but as empowered. Not as sinful, but as forgiven. We are VICTORIOUS in Jesus’ name.
PRAYER: Worship God for this awesome victory in Jesus.
