Topic: “FEEDING BIRDS”
Text: MATT. 6:26
Memory Verse: “Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?” – Matt.6:26.
Our God is a Provider. God is not only a Provider but He loves to give. He is a loving Provider. He knows what we need even before we ask, so He anticipates our needs and meets them. Even when we do not ask, He gives us the ‘little extras’ what the evangelist Diana Hagee describes as God’s’ kisses on our foreheads’. In the same way that a mother might make her child lunch and add just that little something she knows the child loves.
Some of the most trying times in our lives financially and materially can be some of the most fulfilling. If we ask, our God will show His goodness towards us in so many unexpected ways. Do not despair Beloved, as hard as these times seem, our God will make a way through them. After all, it is the same God, who cares for the birds of the air and the lilies of the field who cares for us as well, and much more. We should not rejoice because His care is not dependent on our performance but on His promises.
PRAYER: Father in Heaven, may I joyfully ask for whatever I need from you. I know you are faithful to provide for me in your time and in your way. Thank you for answered prayers in Jesus’ name, Amen.
