Topic: THE GOD OF ALL FLESH
Text: Jeremiah 32:17-27
Memory Verse: Luke 1:37 God is the Almighty and all powerful. He introduced himself as “The God of everything living.” Jeremiah 32:27(MSG)
He introduced himself as The Giver of life to all creation. He reserves the right to give life and to take life. Job 1:21.
The power of God to make alive all living is exclusive to Him alone. Jeremiah 32:17.
His ability to bring back from the dead is unreachable. Jesus displayed his authority over death in many cases as recorded in the Scriptures, but the way he brought Lazarus back from the dead after 4 days keeps resounding and shows that anything dead and written off by men only needs a touch of God to become hopeful again. No situation is hopeless with the God of all creation. His power is unlimited.
With Him, life is birthed in seemingly dead situation as He displayed in Sarah. Gen 18:14.
Connecting with the God of Creation by faith can bring life out of a dead situation. Rom 4:19 says, “Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead — since he was about a hundred years old — and that Sarah’s womb was also dead”.
With God, all things are possible. Luke 1:37.
The challenge is to fear this God above all else. Rom 4:19-20 – “Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead — since he was about a hundred years old — and that Sarah’s womb was also dead”.
It is, therefore, very important to fear Him above all else, Matt 10:28 says, “Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell.
Prayer: O Lord, teach me to fear you and believe that there are no impossibilities with you.
