TOPIC: “THEM SAY, THEM SAY, WHAT IS GOD SAYING?”
TEXT: Nehemiah 4: 10-14
MEMORY VERSE: “And I looked, and rose up, and said unto the nobles, and to the rulers, and to the rest of the people, Be not ye afraid of them: remember the Lord, which is great and terrible, and fight for your brethren, your sons, and your daughters, your wives, and your houses.” Nehemiah 4:14”
Instead of being attentive to hear what God has said and is saying, we are often busy listening to the enemy and even grumbling about the magnitude of our problems. Jehovah El Shaddai is by far bigger and more powerful than all our problems. He is bigger than whatever the enemy may bring your way.
Judah is aware of the decaying strength of the burden bearers; they can also see the mountains of rubbish piled up. Whatever may be the baggage of garbage in your life, God has all it takes to clean up your mess.
‘And our adversaries said, they shall not know, neither see, till we come in the midst among them, and slay them, and cause the work to cease.’
Satan tends to overrate himself and underrate God’s children. Which is good for us. If we know our God and the power that we have in Him when we exercise faith, then we have no reason to fear Satan. He will take to flight when we resist and confront him.
‘Be not ye afraid of them: remember the Lord, which is great and terrible and fight for your brethren’ and your family members and your houses. God will surely give us victory. God will give you victory.
PRAYER: Father, we have confidence in you. You will never allow us to be tempted beyond what we can handle. No matter the magnitude of our problems, please arise and scatter the enemies and give us victory, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
