TOPIC: “DEALING WITH CONSPIRACIES OF ENEMIES OF PROGRESS”
TEXT: Nehemiah 4:7-9
MEMORY VERSE: “Nevertheless, we made our prayer unto our God and set a watch against them day and night, because of them.” Nehemiah 4:9”
‘Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?’ Why are some people always unhappy when things are going well for God’s children? It is because Satan, their master is unhappy. They may then start their conspiracies against you and try to undermine your progress.
God wants to assure you that He is with you always. He has your back. All you need do is abide in Christ intimately, communing with Him. Nehemiah and his people prayed and became watchful knowing that the enemy was seeking who to devour. Whether you are aware of their conspiracies or not, it is happening, so watch and pray.
‘Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake.’ ‘No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.’
PRAYER: Dear Father, may Your Spirit keep me alert, vigilant and sensitive. Help me to constantly commune with you. I trust that you will fight for me and help me to finish strong, Amen.
