Topic: Our Redemption Reveals God’s Love for Us
Text: John 3:16-18
Memory Verse: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” – John 3:16
God’s love is constant and has always been. Even while we were still sinners, the Bible says, Christ died for us, Romans 5:8. One major benefit of our redemption is that it brings us into the waiting love of our personal Lord and Saviour.
The Bible passage that we read pointed out to us how much God loves us to the extent that He sacrificially gave His most precious Gift – Jesus Christ. He gave an open cheque to the human race regardless of sex, colour and tribe.
However, we have a part to play, we have a choice to make – this is to believe and enjoy the fruitfulness of our action. For us to escape the judgement of condemnation here on earth and also in heaven; there is need to believe in our Lord Jesus Christ and the power of His resurrection. When we do this, it gives us eternal life and opens us up to a brand new relationship in Christ.
Have you experienced this eternal bliss? Are you standing on this Solid Rock that stands sure even if there is a shaking? You have an opportunity to do so today. Simply confess Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, your soul will be redeemed and you will enjoy God’s love.
PRAYER: Lord Jesus, I profess my love to you today. Give me grace to love you and be obedient to your word in Jesus’ name.
