Topic: “God’s Worthiness of Praise”

Text: Revelation 4:1-11

Memory Verse: “You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honour and power, for You created all things, and by Your will they were created and have their being.” – Revelation 4:11

God is worthy of our praise because He is the Creator of all things. He formed the heavens, the earth, and everything within them, and He holds everything in existence by His will. His greatness cannot be measured, and His glory knows no bounds. When we truly understand the magnitude of who God is, we realize that He deserves all the honour, glory, and praise we can offer.

From our passage today, we see that the voice of the Lord invites John to look at things from God’s perspective. The voice of the Lord called him to come up from where he was so that He (God) will show him (John)…. Seeing things from the perspective of God gives you a glimpse of who our God is and His worth. We see that the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures always worship the One who sits on the throne forever, laying their crowns before Him. When the worth of our God is revealed to us personally, it helps us to praise the Lord with everything inside of us, and with no limitation.

Praise is not just a response to our circumstances, but a recognition of who God is in His entirety—His holiness, His power, His wisdom, and His love. Worshipping God is a way of acknowledging His worthiness, not only because of what He does for us, but because of who He is.

Take a moment to reflect on the reasons God is worthy of your praise. Perhaps it is His creation, His faithfulness, His salvation, or His love. Whatever it may be, let your heart overflow with adoration for the One who is worthy of all glory.
List three specific reasons why God is worthy of your praise today. Offer your praise to Him, focusing on His greatness and majesty.

PRAYER: Lord, You are worthy of all praise and glory. Thank You for Your creation, Your faithfulness, and Your love. May my heart continually reflect Your greatness, and may my worship bring You the honour You deserve, Amen.
