Topic: The Lamp of Promise
Text: Hebrews 6:18-20
Memory Verse: Hebrews 6:20b “Jesus, has entered on our behalf. He has become a high priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek.”
It is easy to feel lost and uneasy in a dark room with no light. But when a lamp is lit, suddenly, everything becomes clear. In the same way, God’s promises illuminate our path and give us hope in the midst of life’s challenges. This is why we can count on God to be faithful to His promises. We can think of God’s promises as a lamp that guides us through the darkness of uncertainty and doubt.
In our text for today, we are assured that God cannot lie and that His promises are sure. Just as an anchor secures a ship in turbulent waters, God’s promises anchor our souls in the storms of life, providing stability and security.
In a world of broken promises, God’s word remains sure and eternal, like a light that shines unwaveringly in the face of life’s storms, revealing the constant presence of God in our lives. As we cling to His promises, we find comfort, strength, and assurance that He is with us every step of the way, guiding us safely to our ultimate destination.
As you go through the day, hold fast to Jesus, your redeemer, the Lamp of Promise, trusting in God’s faithfulness even when circumstances seem bleak.
Prayer: Lord, may the Lamp of Your promises guide me through every darkness, anchoring my soul in Your unwavering faithfulness, AMEN.
