Topic: “PEACE IN GOD’S SOVEREIGNTY“
Text: Exodus 14:13-23
Memory Verse: “The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace – Exodus 14:14.
There are several issues of life which naturally would make our hearts to fail, when we rely on our own abilities and knowledge due to our limited nature. As believers, we are blessed to have a God who is all knowing and all powerful; constant remembrance of this fact is all we need to be confident all at times and in every situation.
When we trust that God is in control, we can rest on His goodness and love. His sovereignty means He is working all things together for our good, even when we do not understand.
Therefore, whole-heartedly trust the leading of God and His sovereignty over all things (Psalm 103:19).
Allowing God to be in the driver’s seat at all times and in every situation is the comprehensive insurance we have as believers, thus, trust Him to do that which no man can do. (Proverbs 3: 5-6)
PRAYER: Lord, I trust in Your sovereignty. Give me the peace that comes from knowing You are in control. Help me to rest in Your presence and goodness, Amen.
