Topic: “PEACE THROUGH FAITH“
Text: Heb 11:23-31
Memory Verse: “And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 4:7.
Peace is a virtue that is priceless and it is also does not depend on anything or any condition or environment. It is also not dependent on how wealthy you are, it is something that comes from within.
Peace is not the absence of war, but rather, it is God’s abiding presence even in a stormy situation. In a world full of uncertainty, faith is our anchor. When we trust in God’s sovereignty and goodness, we experience a peace that surpasses human understanding. Faith quiets our fears and worries, reminding us that God is in control. As we walk by faith, not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7), we find peace that calms our storms.
Faith is not the absence of challenges, but the presence of trust. When we focus on God’s character, promises, and faithfulness, our hearts and minds are guarded by His peace. This peace is not dependent on circumstances, but on our trust in Him.
One of the greatest weapons that Satan uses against believers is FEAR, so that they can begin to doubt the word God and his promises. No wonder, we see God saying “fear not” in several portions of the Scripture, enough for every situation every day of the year and the word of the Lord shall never return to him without accomplishing the purpose for which it was meant for – Isaiah 55:11.
As you face today’s challenges, choose faith over fear. Remember God’s faithfulness in your past experiences and trust His goodness. Let His peace reign in your heart and mind. When anxiety tries to creep in, redirect your thoughts to God’s promises.
PRAYER: Lord, increase my faith and trust in You. Help me to walk by faith, not by sight. Guard my heart and mind with Your peace and let me rest in Your goodness, Amen.
