Topic: “GOD’S THOUGHTS TRANSFORM OUR LIVES.“
Text: 1 Corinthians 2:10-12.
Memory Verse: “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do” – Ephesians 2:10.
As we gain eternal life by trusting in God’s plan, He reveals His deep thoughts through the Holy Spirit to us. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. For who knows a person’s thought except his own spirit within him? In the same way, no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. One of the advantages of knowing God’s Thoughts is that it Transforms Our Minds. Romans 12:2 says “And do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – His good, pleasing and perfect will”. When we align with God’s thoughts as revealed by His Spirit, our character is shaped to reflect Christ, and we experience Spiritual growth, discernment, and inner renewal.
Ephesians 2:10 “We are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works.” We need to partner with God to carry out His will for our lives. This is only possible when we know His Will or Thoughts for us. Have you discovered your identity and purpose in God’s plan? We have access to God’s divine insight through prayer, Scriptures, and spiritual discernment. Today, you need to surrender your plans and expectations to God, and ask the Holy Spirit to align your mind with God’s will for you. The advantages of this action can never be over-emphasized; it will bring you to intimacy with God and help you to live a fulfilled life.
Apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 4:15 emphasized that God’s divine plan is active and precise, and it works in every aspect of our lives. Our experiences including hardship, are meant to equip us with grace, expand God’s influence, and invite praises. Every trial or blessing, serves as building a block of grace, and brings glory to God through transformed lives. When you live a transformed life, your life will make meaning.
PRAYER: O God my Father, you created me in your image to do good works, reveal your Will to me and help me to live a transformed life, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
