Topic: “BEARING GOD’S PRESENCE BY THE GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT ”
Text: 1 Cor 12:3-11
Memory Verse: 1 Corinthians 12:3 “Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost”
One remarkable way to demonstrate God’s presence to bless and to edify is through the manifestation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. For the gifts of the Spirit are given by God to everyone, to profit others. A believer who walks with God, hates sin and covets the gift of the Spirit will have and manifest it when he or she asks from the LORD. The gifts of the Spirit provide a great access to God and a medium to convey God’s presence and power to others, at home, church or the market place.
How many of the gifts of the Spirit do you manifest? Read 1Cor 12 to understand the various dimensions of the gifts. They are not for decoration but for demonstration. Paul said for the kingdom of God is not in words, but in the demonstration of power.
These are the 3 speaking gifts…Tongues, interpretation of tongues and prophecies. There are also, 3 revelation gifts…word of knowledge, word of wisdom and discerning of spirits. Further, there are 3 power gifts…the working of miracles, divers kind of healings and faith.
Do you desire to manifest them? You can have them when you love the LORD passionately and devote your life to the service of humanity.
PRAYER: LORD, I covet these gifts of the Spirit. Enable me to understand the assignment attached to my life and fill out for your use in Jesus name. Amen.
