SEPTEMBER 3: “Showcasing the power of God in Creation III”

A baby cries and we assume he is hungry, or he is uncomfortable because his diapers are soaked, we hazard all the guesses because of our experience with babies. However, God who created us knows us more than we know ourselves; his power in creation confirms that he is a father, who understands the needs of his own.

God created the plants, the fruits and animals before he created man. He made all these things as provision for the comfort of man. I dare say that God knows your needs even before you know it and has gone ahead to make provision for you. When we are in need, we tend to worry and fret thinking that God has abandoned us. This is not the time to turn to man because man will fail us.

To combat disappointment or fears of our needs not being met, we should believe his promises for us and note that there are always conditions to meeting our needs. We should do our part, work hard, but trust him for the supernatural because he has the power to do more than we can think or imagine.

For example, God said he will bless your daily endeavours, but he commands that you tithe faithfully of all he gives you. If you have not done your part, why should you hold God accountable for his part?

Make up your mind today to believe his word for you, that he has already made provision for all that you need.

PRAYER: Heavenly father, thank you for your provision, thank you because I can trust in your plans for my life. I know that you will meet me at every point of my need today. I will not doubt your provision for me. Take all the glory for in Jesus name I have prayed, Amen.
