Topic: “THE COVENANT AGAINST THE CURSE”
Text: Genesis 8:20-21 NKJV
Memory Verse: “Then the Lord said in His heart, “I will never again curse the ground for man’s sake, although the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; nor will I again destroy every living thing as I have done”.
Even our God, saw the weight of a curse on man and creation in general. As Noah worshipped God with his offering, it pleased the Lord to make the commitment to withdraw a curse from man. Any man who is wise will avoid a curse at all costs. The path to being cursed is sin. Stay in the covenant of His blessings. Whatever our world brings our way to pressure us, we must choose to stay within His counsel lest we fall from grace to grass! May the good Lord keep us by His righteousness all of our days.
Do not walk the path of curses, however, in case you already are under the influence of any, as the Holy Spirit has His way of exposing the influence of any curse to our hearts, fear not! Take your time to remind the Lord God about His covenant which He established with the sacrifice of the Lamb of God on the mount of Calvary and activate the precious Blood which was shed to terminate the effect of curse, from wherever it is from and whatever caused it.
Just as Noah offered this sacrifice to honour the Lord, you just need to surrender your own life to the Lord for Him to take it over and renew it. You will be glad you did.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, by the covenant of life and blessings in Christ Jesus my Lord, I refuse, renounce and reject to be under the influence of any form of curse over me and all those who are mine, Amen.
