TOPIC: “DO NOT WORRY”
TEXT: Luke 12:32, Psalm 21:16
MEMORY VERSE: “Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom.” – Luke 12:32
Worry often begins with “what if?”
What if things go wrong?
What if I do not have enough?
What if the future is hard?
Worry pulls the mind into tomorrow and robs peace from today.
Jesus understood this tendency, which is why He spoke tenderly: “Do not be afraid, little flock.” He reminds us that we are cared for by a loving Father.
If God delights to give us His kingdom, then He is not reluctant to care for our needs. He is not distant from our concerns. His kingdom represents eternal security, grace, glory; a gift rather than something earned. Hold on to this word; He said it, believe it. Numbers 23:19
Worry grows when we focus only on what we can see. Faith grows when we trust what God has said.
This does not mean we ignore responsibility. It means we refuse to carry burdens that belong to God.
Today’s Reflection:
What concern has been occupying your thoughts lately?
Today’s Action:
Turn one worry into prayer today. Write it down and hand it to God.
PRAYER: Lord, teach me to trust You more deeply. Replace anxiety with peace and fear with confidence in Your care. Help me to rest in Your promises today, Amen.
