Topic: “OUR ASSURANCE”
Text: ROMANS 8:35-37
Memory Verse: ““Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?” – Romans 8:35.
Today’s scripture is one of assurance. It not only reassures us as God’s beloved children, but also is an assurance that from our Heavenly Father’s end, there is no going back on His love for us.
We may turn our backs on our commitment to God, but He will be ever faithful. This is surely more than the average human mind can conceive. Yet, our God is a covenant keeper and we must believe Him.
In death, in life, in persecution and distress, God is there for us. He is available to us with His comfort, healing and deliverance. If we are wise, we will surrender to His will for us because in the end, with God, we win. We are more than conquerors in this journey of life.
The spirit realm cannot separate us from God. He ensures that physical barriers and limits are all surmounted, discounted and dissolved to keep us all, His children, in the kingdom of God, bearing the King’s likeness.
Beloved, let us bask in this knowledge for a moment. We are His and He is ours, forever. What a privilege it is to be chosen and loved by our Gracious King.
PRAYER: Heavenly Father, we thank you for your persistence in pursuing us with your love. Keep our feet from straying from you in Jesus’ name, Amen.
