NOVEMBER 11: “GOD’S THOUGHTS: OUR PROSPERITY – GOD’S SECRET FOR PROSPERITY (1)”

Every blessing that we have received this year can be classified as either bread or seed. Bread provides satisfaction for our needs while seed additionally replicates and sustains provisions for the future. As you look back through the year what opportunities have you missed, misused or declined to scatter your seeds in the lives of others? If you reflect deeper with the benefit of hindsight, you will probably realize that most of such gifts and blessings were not meant directly for your benefit as “bread” but were rather, “seeds” sent your way in trust, to be dispersed to those God had sent or was preparing to send your way.

God’s plan is that we are all part of a whole, a community supplying the needs of each other and drawing from what is abundantly supplied from the source, our Father who is the head of the body.

If we have truly appreciated the purpose of the gifts and the graces released upon us in the course of the year and deployed them appropriately, then we would have unlocked the divine treasure house that guarantees that “God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work”, which will also trigger an overflowing crescendo of thanks to God from all those we have touched in the name of the Lord.

 PRAYER: O Lord, help me to understand the eternal purpose for the blessings that I have received in Jesus’ name, Amen.
