Topic:  “GOD’S THOUGHTS: OUR PROSPERITY – HE GAVE US HIS ALL“

Text: Romans 8:26-37

Memory Verse: “He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?” Romans 8:32.

Our prosperity and all its benefits are rooted and sustained in the sacrifice and divine exchange at the cross of calvary. There was no sacrifice or price found worthy to atone and pay for our sins. God in His infinite mercy decided to provide for himself, the sinless lamb of God for the atonement of our sins. For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ.

The shedding of the blood of Jesus removed the sentence of death and restored us to fellowship with God. We can now freely and boldly enter into His presence, where there is fullness of Joy and have access to His right hand, where there are pleasures for ever more. This is His promise in our memory verse today – ALL THINGS. The Psalmist put it this way in Ps. 92:12-14: “The righteous will flourish like a palm tree; they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon.

planted in the house of the Lord, they will flourish in the courts of our God. They will still bear fruit in old age; they will stay fresh and green”

When He promised that in Christ, He has given us all things, that is the definition of true Prosperity, to be plugged in to the source of all provision in Christ.

PRAYER: O Lord, thank you for the price Jesus paid to atone for my sins and for the glorious inheritance I now have in Jesus, Amen.
