Topic: “HOW TO BE GRATEFUL – AVOID COMPARISONS”
Text: 2 CORINTHIANS 10:12-15
Memory Verse: “For we dare not make ourselves of the number or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise” – 2 Corinthians 10:12”.

A grateful mindset will avoid comparisons with others as much as possible. This is because the Christian life is an individual race, and our challenges are quite different. You are also not sure of what other people are going through despite the miracles that are visible in their lives. Many times, there are unspoken challenges that others may be unaware of.
The Scriptures says that those who compare themselves to others are not wise. This is because you do not know the challenges they are passing through and you do not know the path that God is taking them through. God owns all the resources in heaven and on earth and bestows them on people according to His plan and purpose.
Please stop comparing yourselves to others unless it is with a mindset to improve yourselves in an area of education, prayers and the study of the Word. Focus on your own journey with the Lord. He can take you to the Promised Land. Be wise!
PRAYER: God help me to avoid comparing myself with others but to focus on my walk with you, Amen.
