SEPTEMBER 5: “Showcasing the power of God through his invincible qualities.”

We cannot justify people’s behaviour with logic and psychology without considering their knowledge of God. People who are called atheists are quick to provide a justification for the elements in the universe and make allusions to evolution or chemical eruption. All these are false, the God of heaven created all things.

When we wake up daily, we enjoy the glorious creation of nature. Psalm 19:1 says the heavens declare the glory of God and the firmament shows his handiwork. When we look at what is visible around us in nature, the beauty of it all and the colours, we can affirm that what is not visible will be far better and glorious.

God’s invincible qualities are far greater than the visible nature we see, we cannot see the wind, but it exists. What about the air we breathe in and breathe out, the thoughts of our mind and the working of the seasons? Who ensures that all these function, as they should, but the invincible hands of God? Can I talk about the human body? Any time I go for my annual medical examinations and conduct a test called ECG, there is an equipment used to measure the heartbeat, the sound of which reminds me of an engine working.

You can imagine how your computer system for mobile phones functions, the software always comes with updates without which, the system will not function optimally. Well, God’s invincible hands control the nature he created and by his power, they are always consistent and dependable.

This morning, I invite you to enter into his presence and thank him for showing his eternal power and divine nature to you by making his natural resources available to you without charging for it.

PRAYER: Thank you Lord for your divine power. I appropriate power over every voice challenging the authority of God in my life. I declare his greatness and that his invincible hands are always there to lead and present his best for me.
